What equipment do I need to use BovIntel?

BovIntel requires an Easi-Scan:Go scanner and works as a software addition to the Go-Scan app.

Can I use BovIntel with BUGs?

Yes. For black and white BUG:Go headsets, BovIntel will appear as grayscale on the screen, but in colour on the viewing app. For VGA and Colour OLED, BovIntel will augment in colour.

Do I need a CFM license for BovIntel to work?

No, just the BovIntel license. The algorithm will still display in colour.

Can BovIntel be used with ESG Lite?

No, BovIntel can be used only on the blue Easi-Scan:Go.

Do we need to invest in any further hardware?

No, BovIntel is available as a simple software add-on to the Go-Scan app and is compatible with all Easi-Scan:Go’s.

Does BovIntel provide exact measurements or estimates?

The measurements are accurate to the nearest mm and have been developed based on thousands of reference images using machine learning.

How accurate is BovIntel? Will it get more accurate over time?

Currently we are reaching 90% accuracy. Developed with experienced vets, this will only improve over time.

What specific anatomical features can Bovintel accurately measure or identify?

How do you know BovIntel is accurate and reliable?

BovIntel is an algorithm built by machine learning. Each image has been captured, analysed and annotated by multiple qualified vets. We are always working to remove incorrect images from the algorithm.

Is there any additional training required to effectively use BovIntel?

No. The great thing about BovIntel is that it just slots straight into your current workflow.

What support is available to us as we start using it?
